DESCRIPTION
TheSN74LVC1G99deviceisoperational from1.65V to5.5V.
The SN74LVC1G99 device features configurable multiplefunctionswitha3-stateoutput.Theoutput is disabledwhen theoutput-enable (OE) input ishigh. WhenOEislow, theoutputstateisdeterminedby16 patterns of 4-bit input. The user can choose logic functions, such asMUX, AND, OR, NAND, NOR,XOR,XNOR, inverter, andbuffer.All inputscanbe connectedtoVCCorGND.
Thisdevicefunctionsasanindependent inverter,but because of Schmitt action, it has different input thresholdlevelsforpositive-going(VT )andnegative-going(VT–)signals.
Toensurethehigh-impedancestateduringpowerup orpowerdown,OEshouldbetiedtoVCC througha pullup resistor; theminimumvalueof the resistor is determined by the current-sinking capability of the driver.
Thisdevice is fully specified for partial-power-down applications using Ioff. The Ioff circuitry disables the outputs, preventing damaging current backflow throughthedevicewhenit ispowereddown.
