Thedevice transmits data from theAbus to theBbus or from theBbus to theAbus, depending on the logic level at the direction-control (DIR) input.Theoutput-enable(OE) input canbeusedtodisablethedevicesothebusesare effectivelyisolated.
Toensurethehigh-impedancestateduringpoweruporpowerdown,OEshouldbetiedtoVCCthroughapullup resistor; theminimumvalueof theresistor isdeterminedbythecurrent-sinkingcapabilityof thedriver.
